New Update

Women’s BB League 2019: Match 21, Sydney Sixers vs Melbourne Stars – Dream11 -Playing XI, Pitch Report & Injury Update

The Melbourne Stars finally brought an end to their losing streak as they got their first points after losing each of their first four matches. Lizelle Lee’s 2nd hundred in the WBBL helped Stars to finish on 155/3 in their 20 overs. Lizelle alone scored 103* from 65 balls with 13 fours and three sixes. The total might look slightly lower due to an individual brilliance but the hosts Perth Scorchers struggled in the chase.
The Scorchers were 56/1 after six overs; the most by any team in the mandatory powerplay in this season but ended up 21 short of the target. The Stars will now face the Sydney Sixers who defeated the Melbourne Renegades in the afternoon at the WACA. The Sixers now have won three out of four matches they played thus far and aim to move close to the top of the points table.
