The Women’s T20 Challenge in Jaipur is all set to get underway tomorrow at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. The opening game is scheduled to be played between the Supernovas, captained by Harmanpreet Kaur and the Trailblazers, led by Smriti Mandhana. Last year, the same opponents faced in the Women’s T20 Challenge match in the game played at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai and Supernovas took the honors.

Mandhana recently captained the India Women’s team in the three-match T20I series against England Women and slumped to defeat in all three encounters. Amidst the hullabaloo surrounding the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2019, the women’s game is expected to come as a breath of fresh air.
